These terms govern every purchase from Varashree Luxury. Because each saree is a handwoven, one-of-a-kind heirloom, a few of our terms differ from ordinary retail. Please read them with care before you order.
Every Varashree saree is a single, hand-numbered, handwoven piece — frequently reserved or made to order specifically for you. For this reason all sales are final. Once an order is confirmed and payment is received, it cannot be returned, exchanged, refunded, or cancelled. We encourage a private viewing or video call before you commit to a piece.
By placing an order with Varashree Luxury, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
Each saree is woven entirely by hand. Minor irregularities in weave, motif alignment, dye tone and texture are inherent to handloom craft and natural dyeing — they are the signature of authenticity, not defects.
Colours may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor and lighting differences.
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice; the price confirmed at order is the price that applies.
Full payment is required to confirm and reserve a piece. We accept major cards, UPI and bank transfer.
Bespoke and made-to-order sarees require an advance and a production window of approximately 30–45 days. Reserved pieces are held only once payment is received.
Orders are dispatched fully insured. Domestic delivery typically takes 3–7 working days; international delivery 7–14 working days. Customs duties and import taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.
Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.
As stated above, all sales are final. Because every piece is unique and often made or reserved for a single client, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds, and orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
In the rare event a piece arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs so we can assist through the courier’s insurance.
Every saree carries the Silk Mark and Handloom Mark and ships with a Varashree Certificate of Authenticity recording its weave, materials and lot number.
Dry clean only, by a specialist familiar with pure silk and zari. Store rolled in muslin, away from direct sunlight, moisture and perfume. Care guidance ships with every order.
All designs, motifs, photography, text and the Varashree panther emblem are the property of Varashree Luxury and may not be reproduced without written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the saree purchased.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
